Every month, for the 6 months following the official launch, we compute Chain's net profits (revenue minus operating costs). 0.015% of that figure is credited to you. Distribution happens via the wallet built into the Chain app or via bank transfer, your choice.
No problem. 3 hours of iOS-only testing counts as 3 hours. iOS and Android hours add up if you want to split the time, but you're not required to use both.
The app automatically tracks the time it's in the foreground while you're logged in. Backgrounding the app doesn't count. Leaving it open without using it isn't enough either: you also need to tick the feature checklist.
In your portal you'll find a checklist with ~11 features: send a message, send media, make an audio call, a video call, a broadcast, a live, unlock paid content, top up the wallet, edit your profile, open notification settings, send a bug report. Each action automatically ticks its checkbox.
No one can know in advance. It depends entirely on how Chain performs in the months after launch. You get a proportional share of the real profits, whatever they turn out to be. It could be little or it could be a lot — either way, you share the outcome.
No. Each person is entitled to one Debugger seat. Duplicate accounts are detected and removed (you'd also lose eligibility on the original account).
The 6 months of payout start at the official app launch on the public stores (not during the alpha/beta phase). You'll get a notification the exact moment the counters start.
You report it in the portal with as much detail as possible. Critical bugs get priority — and the most productive testers can receive higher shares on top of the base 0.015%.
